Reservations are excepted with a $200.00 deposit. Reservations are done in chronological order, and you may reserve a puppy based on gender. All puppies will be Microchipped which is included in the price of the puppy. All puppies will be up to date on shots

 

Naming

Puppies will be named in accordance with the French naming system. Each year is assigned a letter, 2015 dogs names start with "L" and the kennel name, "L'Etoile du Nord" is appended to the end. E.g. a female whelped in 2015, would have a name such as "Lucky de L'Etoile du Nord"

 

AKC and UKC Registration

The puppies will be registered with UKC and the litter will be registered with AKC, but, for AKC, the puppy registration will be up to the owner. I understand that their may be a few that wish to compete in AKC and do not wish to prevent them from doing so, as such I register the litter so the owner can choose to register the puppy if they so desire. AKC Registration will be restricted for breeding purposes. I will grant unrestricted registration in AKC to dogs who have had their hips certified, either by OFA or PennHip

 

Guarantee

Update effective 2015

I guarantee that your puppy will be free from genetic defects that can be tested for. E.g. Hips, eyes, Sable gene, etc, for 30 months.  If a dog is found to have a testable genetic defect, upon receipt of a Veterinarian report, to include the Microchip number and Spay or Neuter Certificate, I will work with you resolve it to YOUR satisfaction, be that another puppy, or a refund. I will NEVER require your dog be returned to me, as they are now a member of your family, and I have no desire to break up a happy family.

 

Shipping

While it is ideal for you to pick your puppy up in person, that is not always possible.Puppies will be flown from the nearest available airport, to minimize travel time. All shipping charges will be your responsibility. Unfortunately with the rising cost of fuel, and the fact that it is a 4 to 5 hour round trip for me to go to the airport, it will be necessary for me to charge $50.00 for the round trip to the airport and back.
